One popular accessory that most modern fireplaces can’t do without today is a blower. When the fireplace is turned on, it releases a good amount of heat over time.

However, you may notice that the heat rises and doesn’t distribute in the room as well as it should. That’s why the fireplace blower is vital. It is designed to increase the amount of heat that is being produced by the fire as well as move it away in order to distribute warmth evenly throughout the room.

How Fireplace Blowers Work

Fireplace blowers are designed with a heat-resistant tubing where the air is heated before being released. The fire blower system works in such a way that cold air is sucked out of the room and then pumped into the pipes for heating.

Once the air is inside the pipes, it takes little time to be heated. The heated air is then pushed out of the pipes like a heater does but this time, using very little energy. The air is then evenly distributed into the room.

Temperature Activated Fireplace Blowers

This means that with a fireplace blower, the heat doesn’t just come from the fire itself, it also comes from the tubes. Since there’s some air intake, the force propels the air further into the room in order to enhance heat distribution.

However, there’s the risk of the space getting too warm with multiple heat sources. That’s where the temperature-activated fireplace blowers come in. They have an attached thermometer so that once the temperature gets to a certain level, the blower automatically shuts down.

I contacted The Fireplace Store, regarding a problem that I was having with my gas fireplace. Even though I did not purchase my fireplace from them, they were very helpful, and answered all my questions. They also confirmed that I was getting a fair price from the company that installed my unit, and that would be doing the repair. They also suggested, that I ask my installer why the problem occurred in the first place, in an effort to prevent the same problem from happening again. Totally honest, helpful and straight-up people. Thank you again.

I had them install a new Kingsman VRB46N fireplace in a bedroom couple months ago. They were knowledgeable, responsive and the installer was amazing. It is a beautiful fireplace. A few weeks later an old set of gas logs in a different part of the house from 25 years ago finally stopped working and they are replacing with new ones. They did a thorough job of measuring and found a solution that met my budget. I highly suggest buying from this establishment.

These guys were fantastic to deal with. Originally I wanted a wood burning fireplace but my chimney did not allow it by today’s codes. So they suggested put in a stunning Valor Portrait natural gas fireplace! They were very fair in pricing and very quick to complete the job! The fireplace adds so much warmth to the room, my wife and I absolutely love it! The cats are big fans too!

The Fireplace Store was an excellent business to deal with in all aspects of our gas fireplace renewal project. Our existing fireplace/chimney chase needed a lot of remedial work to correct it's shoddy construction by the original builder of our home. Dan spent the better part of a day repairing damage and correcting things before he was able to install our new fireplace. The resulting upcharge was reasonable. The brick layers/masons who installed the stone around the new fireplace were excellent as well. All staff were most careful and respectful of out home and property. I would not hesitate to recommend The Fireplace Store for your fireplace renovation project.

I just purchased a Kingsman see through from Zoroast. First of all, the showroom is outstanding - from the decor, to the product quality and quantity - they have everything. The staff were also very helpful and knowledgeable about the product and gave handy tips to deal with maintenance. After purchasing the product, they arranged to have it delivered and assembled. After assembly, they completed a thorough check of the gas line, product and its overall setup. I am so happy with my experience. This is definitely one specialty store I would recommend to anyone!

We had the greatest experience with our fireplace purchase. Vanessa was a pleasure to work with. She answered all of my questions right away, felt like she was a fireplace technician. The installation was scheduled within a matter of a week from date of purchase. The installers were on-time and courteous. They did such a great job with the install. Brent is a consummate professional and we would highly recommend him for any gas fireplace repair or service. He responded promptly and arrived on time. He meticulously cleaned up the work space when he was finished his work.We had a fireplace that was looked at a year ago and found out that the logs were not placed in the same position to function properly. Brent replaced all the logs, and cleaned all the soot in between the log chambers. He told us to get new crystals and lava rocks which were missing on the both sides. The fireplace now works perfectly !

Three days ago my wife and I dropped into the showroom and were greeted by Vanessa, an extremely pleasant and knowledgeable representative of the company. She patiently listened and answered all of our queries. We settled on the Amantii Electric Fireplace and were given a date and time the the unit would be delivered and installed.Two gentlemen showed up 15 minutes ahead of schedule and proceeded to prep for the removal of the old unit and install the new one. I was extremely impressed by their care for my wood floors.Once completed they cleaned the area and removed every sign that they had even been there.I highly recommend this company for your fireplace needs. A pleasure to do business with them from beginning to end.

We needed two fireplaces but had no idea what to get. Yessica, at The Fireplace Store was patient, very knowledgeable and generally great to deal with. It took us a while to decide but she stayed with us and answered our questions as we went. I deliberately selected this company to install a new fireplace system in my home. Initially the young woman was quite helpful but then after receiving a down payment everything fell apart in terms of communication. Multiple voice messages were left until I finally contacted the manager who responded once with an email. Given I was working, I requested communication the following day. I have had no return communication. I finally spoke with the initial young lady and respectfully conveyed my disappointment with the communication with her and the company. Her response was simply 'well we are talking now so lets move things forward'. This is not what I consider good customer service. Had she initially apologized for the missed communication I would have happily restored my faith. The only phone call I rec'd was asking for the remaining payment which I waited to see how long it took for them to reach out to me. I have paid in full but am still waiting for the final customized front plate. I was told it should be ready to install in 3-4 wks. It is now 7 weeks and I still have not rec'd one email explaining about the delay. Perhaps this is a one off experience, a poor saleswoman or my file has been lost. I listen to reviews but make up my own mind. As others should as well. Good luck to future customers.ADDENDUMManagement from the Fireplace store reached out to me with a lovely apology and explanation which was sincerely appreciated. Their comments sounded genuine and the token sent was appreciated. Thus I feel compelled to change my thoughts and opinion due to their response. Thank you management at The Fireplace Store:)
